This large brass jardiniere is oval in form, with a pierced gallery. The handles are two
cast brass rings, and the foot is folded over
an iron rod. The base has been renewed,
as it was made in zinc and badly rotted.
It was made in the early 19th century.
The jardiniere measures 26 inches long,
is 17 inches wide, and is 6 inches high. |
