Brittany milk churn
This highly decorative 19th C copy of an earlier period milk churn is made mainly from brass, with small additions in copper. It comes from the north
west region of France, all the decoration is reppousee hand work. It was never used as a milk
container,as it is not tinned inside.
The churn measures 28inches in height, and at widest is 20inches.

All brass hat and coat rack. The hats sit on the shelf and the coats are hung on the hangers.The hangers swivel for ease of use.
this rack was made during the 1930s. It
measures 34inches wide,10inches deep, and

Coatrack, hatrack, with mirror
This handsome coat and hat rack is made in brass,with the origional mirror. It measures
38inches wide, is 22inches in height[including the mirror], and stands 9inches
off the wall. It was made in France during
the 1920s.

hod ,in which grapes were harvested; the
hod was carried on the back of the picker.
It is made in repoussee brass, with copper bands.

This weather vane shows a stationaryengine ,and is cut from sheet metal. It is 54inches wide,and is 16inches high. the first photo shows the back, and the second the front. It has at some time been repainted, but is in good condition.

This tin washstand is decorated in a faux wood. The lid closes on the washbasin,which
would formerly have been connected to the
slop bucket to receive the used water.
The decoration is in good condition.

COFFEE ROASTER
This ironbodied coffee roaster dates from the middle of the 19th century.The raw coffee beans are placed within roaster, which is the put on an open fire.With the small door closed the handle is rotated, operating the revolving paddle in the roaster, and evenly roasting the beans.
The body of the roaster is 14inches across, and the handle is 20inches long.

Porcelain glove moulds
These highly decorative moulds come in all sizes, left or right. They came from a glove making factory in the centre of France. They
are made in porcelain with a thick white glaze. They were part of a long moving belt
which dipped into rubber solution;as the belt moved the solution dried and the glove
was stripped off manually.

These candlesticks date from the 1880s and they
are cast brass. Some of the origional gilding remains
